About

Stefan Sirucek’s writing has appeared in Vulture, National Geographic, Nerve, The Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and on NPR.

As a grant-writer and development professional he has contributed strong narratives and creative fundraising strategies to nonprofits and arts organizations including 59E59 Theaters, Climate Town, the Unscripted Project, and Luna Composition Lab.

A filmmaker and comedian in his creative life, in 2018 he wrote and directed an 8-part comedy web series about Paul Ryan called I'm Paul Ryan that you can watch online.

From 2015-2016 he was a staff writer for the now defunct but fondly(?) remembered news and culture site Death & Taxes where he wrote about Trump Steaks and politicians gorging themselves on various campaign trail meats.

In 2013 he wrote a comedy series about actors on a cheesy cop show.

In 2010 he broke the news on the Huffington Post that Sarah Palin was reading notes off her hands. Remember that? Remember her?

Anyway he didn't get any money for that but it got him a cool t-shirt.
